The interactive, audiovisual installation SPECTRAN gives the visitor an insight into the connection between music and deafness. The visualization and sound output is done by real-time analysis of the frequency spectrum. SPECTRAN is based on a touchless movement and gesture control. The visitor can change the perceptible frequency ranges through his position.
